About Us

The Venice Center for Peace with Justice and the Arts is a two story facility located at Lincoln Blvd. and Victoria Ave. (just north of Venice Blvd.) on the Venice United Methodist Church campus.

 

The VCPJA offers non-profit space, support, and encouragement for programs that nurture, guide, and provide safety for youth, feed the homeless, promote a living wage and universal health care, and promote non-violence and conflict transformation. The Center and its collaborators strive for peace with justice, responsible consumption and production practices, and ecological respect.  The VCPJA is also a regular host to public events for the benefit of the community.

 

The VCPJA is sponsored and maintained by the Venice United Methodist Church and the church’s Board of Trustees is responsible for the property management.  The day-to-day management is taken care of out of the church office by the church administrative assistant.
